Micro-organisms have already been used for many bioremediation processes to degrade pollutants produced by human activity, but the development of industrial waste that is more and more complex and toxic is making bioremediation and the use of biotechnology in environmental management more and more attractive. Marine oil spill. The proper bioremediation of any oil spill requires the detailed assessment of contaminated areas, the reproduction of this environment in continuous culture and the adaptation of the appropriate microbial communities to actual crude oil taken from these contaminated areas. The result will be microbes that can significantly accelerate the decomposition of crude oil and limit the environmental and economic impact of such disaster.
Soil bioremediation.
